Once we arrived at the beach of Pulau Redang, we had to hop off the boat and wade our way in the water onto the beach. Yam didn't believe me that this was going to happen and insisted that there was a pier to walk on. Alas, when you're visiting paradise, the environment is kept as natural as possible.
