On 30 March 2002 Mak Long Rahah and Dato' Najib, my cousin, organised the first and largest family reunion.
	It was held at the home of Tn. Hj. Mohd. Khalid Jusoh in Langgar, Pekan, Pahang and the event was named "Malam Himpunan Keluarga Tautan Rasa".

This trip began at the Vistana hotel in Kuantan, where a few of us stayed.

More than 800 family members turned up (!) and these consisted from five family groups - the late Sulong (Halimah), late Ngah (Kiah), late Jusoh, late Dato' Setia Wangsa Sir Mahmud and late Hj. Abu Talib (children of the late Mat bin Lambak and late Saadiah Hj. Ahmad).

 

	We wore coloured named tags, and my family group was yellow. I never knew I had so many relatives. I hardly even knew the ones in yellow group!
	There were speeches by Mak Long, Najib and Tok Khalid, followed by dinner and a multimedia presentation.

Lastly, souvenirs were given away to 26 family members (from the main five). These were the 3-metre wide family tree poster and multimedia VCD.
